Prince Castles' ice cream buckets circa 1930. A rare nostalgia ice cream find!
This is for one of the aged, heavy metal buckets. The silver tone buckets feature the Prince Castles branding in a raised font across the front.
Prince Castles Ice Cream first opened in DeKalb, Illinois in 1928. The rich ice cream and sherbet company rapidly expanded with at least 25 locations in the Chicago area serving ice cream, Steakburgers, Castle Cones and "One in a Million" malts. By the 1950s, the company had changed their name to Cock Robin.
